Candy Bowl Claw
I am entering this in the "Spooktacular" NXT Building Challenge. It is a multi-functioning NXT machine. I had some trouble with the bowl holding system, and ended up not using rubber grips on it(picture 2) . It waits for a someone to grab some candy (gears, in this case), and then the claw closes on hand, laughing like a maniac. It then releases it's grip, and allows the person to grab some candy. But there's a catch; that creepy looking spider(see picture 3) is illuminated by a red light while moving around and roaring. The spider is a design from NXTprograms, which I then modified.The program is in a repeat, so it automatically resets for another guest. I plan to use it on Halloween. (Note: The video is before I added the extra 5 seconds so candy could be taken from the bowl without getting "clawed" a second time.)
