Mantis Guard
This robot attacks and clamps its claws violently when it detects a "trespasser". It follows the intruder until he/she is 60 centimeters away. Though prone to glitches, the robot has seen some successful action in the short time it was fielded; I had to scratch it because of a looming science project requiring the NXT. Hope you like it! NOTE: I'm NOT the best wire manager. P.S. Comments and suggestions are appreciated because, as a newbie, I have a lot to learn from you guys.

  • Could you please post something more than one frontal picture? I can't see most of the project. Maybe you can take more pictures or you can create a video or a LDD file.

  • sorry i'll try to post more pictures (how?) and etlrr13; i'll post the program (HOW?) once i switch over on my widows OS (i'm in linux) barriebently; the idea was that when the robot sensed aperson 50 cm away it would: a)charge, and b)clamp its claws. i'll post the program so you know what i mean, but guys don't really bother, i scratched the robot a while ago
