Rotary Inverted Pendulum
Motor is "Power Functions XL motor", and two angle sensors are "GlideWheel-M" of mindsensors.com. MATLAB/Simulink ("Target for Use with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Hardware") is used in the embedded control system analysis and synthesis.

  • I am sorry, but it is difficult to write a NXT-G program for this inverted pendulum. If you are a college/university student, this software (MATLAB/Simulink student version (R2012a or higher)) can be got at a low price from the MathWorks, and you can install "Target for Use with LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Hardware" easily. As other choices, ROBOTC programming can be used, for example. Thanks.
