Helpful MyBlocks 04: Multiple Compare
Most of you know what the compare block does. It compares 2 numbers and finds out which one is greater than, less than, or = to the other. What happens if you want to compare more than one number? That's where the multiple compare block comes in. I used it in wipeout to determine who had the lowest time.

How it Works

When you put the block into a program, do the following things. 1. Insert the Myblock. 2. Wire up the five options into the ports. Then wire lowest number port into a display number. 3. Run the program. It should display the option that was the lowest. This block can only do less than. Look in the pic for more info.

  • First off, where's your program? Also, that would be a lot of combinations for a compare block,30 combinations! See how there are so many combinations, I am interested if your block works properly or not. Please post your program.

  • @penguin314, that's not what I was thinking of as a multiple compare block. I thought he made a compare block such that it gave comparisons of any two numbers from the five inputs.
