mail carrier (autonomous)
An autonomous mail carrier. I was thinking about another project for the smartmove contest,and this is what i thought of! it is a castor,my own design. the whole setup was thought of by me, i did not copy any design's that i know of, the program was made completely by me. the program is: you put the mail in the slot,and press the touch sensor. then the robot will seal the mail in. then you press the touch sensor again and it will drive off looking out for walls and furniture, while waiting for the touch sensor to be pressed. if it is, then it will ask for fingerprint(skin color). if it is correct,it will grant you the mail. if not, it will beep and drive off! i will be posting this program as soon as i can! sorry, no ldd; it would not have let me put things where they are on this project, i wish i could, but i can't!

so here's why i entered it into the smartmove contest, i think that perhaps that this would be a much more efficient and advanced way of transporting mail. I'm going to be making a bigger one that can hold more letters and dispense them one at a time, so it could be used commercially, instead of just privately. it is sort of a sneaky way to get a letter to someone, without anyone else reading it. here's how it works with the reading's: so the program will have you select the darkness of the finger of the person you are looking for. how you know that is you take the other program to take readings of the darkness and write down the darkness number of their finger. so it works like a phone book! example: Tim:54 john:59 Hannah:49 mike:60 mom:58 dad:50 see? thanks for looking at my project and don't forget to check out my other ones! ski4jesus

  • hey, does anyone have any ideas on what I should build next? I've gotten in one of those moods where you want to build something really cool, but you don't know what to build! I've tried a tank, but that was a fail because I wasn't in the mood to build tanks, then I tried a animal carrier like that other kid's one, but that didn't work out either! Ideas, please! ski4jesus
