Ping Pong Ball Machine
I was looking for a ping pong ball machine for christmas, and the only legitimate one I saw was for 600 dollars. So I built this simple machine in 80 minutes from scratch. It should take an amateur under an hour to build. The one problem I found while building it was placing the two launching wheels the perfect distance apart, as to give the ball enough force, but not smash it. I eventually built it with them too far apart, and then taped tissues onto the wheels until it worked. It works with three motors, because I programed each of the throwing motors set to a random power between 70 and 100. The third motor is a loading motor. Enjoy!

  • I love it and do you have to put the tissue paper on when you build it?

  • Yes. Rubber bands actually work better when I tried it, because they are stickier.
