Amphibious Explorerbot Program and Video
Here is the program and video for my project "Amphibious Explorerbot." Please see that project for more information and pictures of this robot. The program is quite simplistic and contains several comments. It utilizes two loops. The upper one switches the Mode variable between two states, and the lower one drives the robot and transforms it depending on the Mode variable's value. The video contains a clip of the unfinished robot going over water. It then shows the finished robot going on land and transforming from land to water mode and back again. Then, it shows transformation close up before finally showing the robot navigating in water. Warning: Water is very dangerous to Lego Mindstorms and can easily destroy its electronic elements it there is contact. Please exercise due caution when using Lego Mindstorms near water. If you attempt to construct this robot, please do not assume that it will work - even if the robot is exactly replicated, it still may fail in water and be ruined. Thanks for looking!
