Mountain buggy
Have you ever been in a situation where you want to build a cool robot with your NXT set but you don't want to invent a new robot? Instead you just want to use some instructions? And then all the instructions are for the NXT set you don't have? Well, this is what you need. It is build-able with any of the Mindstorms NXT sets, 1.0, 2.0, and the Education Set, except for the tires but you can use just about any type. I used the ones shown in the first picture because they look best, but you can use the ones that come in the 2.0 set as shown in picture four. It is really easy to build and it is also really simple. Again, it can be built with any NXT set released so far, except maybe the Evolution 3, which will be released in the fall 2013. I named it Mountain Buggy because that is what it reminded me of when I made it but you could name it just about anything. The program can also be just about anything too, from avoiding objects to navigating through the kitchen! The Ultrasonic sensor is for avoiding/locating objects and the touch sensor can be for starting and stopping programs. I didn't add a program because there are lots I have made so far and I wanted to give more pictures and an LDD, But if you have any great ideas, tell me. Specs. Motors, 2 -Left is port B -Right is port C Sensors, 2 -Ultrasonic is port 4 -Touch is port 1 Length, 8.25 In. Width, 7.125 In.

  • It can be built with any mindstorms set released so far so as long as you have one, you can make it.
