Color Sorter Program
This is the Color Sorter, one of the creations you can build with Mindstorms NXT 2.0. For the Color Sorter I have created a program from scratch--not the one provided in the software, but one I made on my own.

Included is the program, as well as a video (.wmv) showing the Color Sorter in action. The touch sensor under the dispenser is unplugged because, when plugged to the NXT brick, the wire inhibits the tray's movement.

Just so you know, this isn't a big project, just a little something my brothers and I did before we were to make our own custom creations.

  • Hi Lego Lover! Cool work! I am me mates raked brains for hours to make the original program (the one we got with the software) work...but, failed. Your program worked cool. Good thinking (and good math! to work the way around the touch sensors) BTW, any idea why the actual program that comes with the nxt2.0 software doesn't work?? The program seems all fine...and no matter in how many ways we modify it, it still doesn't work properly.

  • :) Thanks to you I made a robot that would let you pass if you showed it blue. if not....... it shoots at you until it runs out of things to shoot at you. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!!!!!! :)
