The Off-Roader with two NXTs
This is an off-roader project I've spent nearly the past half hour working on. It has a very good suspension setup, and very large wheels. It's especially good because of the wheels because each one is bigger than the NXT. It doesn't have a very complicated program, it's just the NXT program option on the NXT itself. Also, MY MILITARY CARRIER IS BACK ON THE NXTLOG!!!!! Also, I POSTED THE CRANE FINALLY! For whatever reason the moderators temporarily removed my carrier, but it's back now. About the crane, they never put it on the new projects list, and so nobody ever discovered it.

The Crane, along with several Supecars

I finally posted the crane. It may not be quite what you have expected, but it is finally documented, about 3 months later than was planned. Please look at it too.

  • Well, technic building is almost never white. Anyways, everybody seeing this project should go look at my other ones. They were serious projects, this one was basically just used to test some new wheels I got and play around with my new camera. My others are much more serious.

  • I wasn't using any of my 3 NXT's for anything, and I felt like making a test vehicle with AWD. And I wanted to use 4 motors because that requires less effort than building a complicated drivetrain.

  • @idkwhoyouare, I have no idea, I never tried to turn it. My guess is no, because the axles are very flimsy (not being reinforced at all). If I were to try, I'm sure the axles would just break and the wheels would fall off on one (or both) sides. Anyway, I have another new project that's much more exciting, you should go see it

  • The black NXT was available from lego directly for a while during 2008 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Mindstorms. it of course was started in 1998, and so they only made 1998 black NXTs.. and I'm fortunate to own 2 of them along with a single white NXT.
