Electric Scooter
I know I haven't posted in months! This is an electric scooter I made that can somewhat balance and avoid obstacles. In addition, the front wheel lights up. I will talk about each individual function in the next few sections.

Balancing

The scooter doesn't balance so well, but when it does balance, it works the same way as a regular scooter -- The faster you go, the more balanced the scooter is.

Avoiding Obstacles

The scooter doesn't exactly avoid obstacles -- it can't turn -- but it does warn you when you are about to bump into an object by beeping very loudly.

The Light-Up Wheel

The wheel itself doesn't light up -- the color sensor, hidden at the bottom of the scooter constantly flashes red, green, and blue at the wheel. So from a side view, it appears that the wheel is lighting up.

  • Ignore my last comment. I altered the program slightly, and now the scooter can balance itself perfectly. I will attempt to post a video as a separate project. If it doesn't work out, I will notify you in the comments on this project.
